Fight the App Overload: Manage Your iPhone Like a Pro

How to Beat iPhone App Overload?

1. Organize Your Dock Smartly

The app dock is the stationary row at the bottom of your iPhone's Home screen. It's designed to be a convenient spot for your favorite apps. Unlike other app icons, the icons in the dock remain constant across all home screen pages. Ideally, you should place your most frequently used apps here for easy access. Note that the dock has a limit of four items, which can be a combination of apps and folders.

Navigating your iOS interface like a pro means mastering how to personalize your app arrangement. Whether you're new to iOS or just need a refresher, here are the simple steps to moving app icons on your iPhone:

Method 1:

  1. Lightly tap and hold any app icon until a quick action menu appears.
  2. Without waiting, lift your finger, then tap "Edit Home Screen." (This option will be available on all pages, not just your primary one.)

Method 2:

  1. Press and hold any app icon; wait past the selection box prompt.
  2. The app icons will begin to "jiggle," which indicates they can now be moved.

Once the icons are jiggling, drag the desired app to its new location by pressing it with your finger and moving it across the screen. Release your finger to set the app in place. To finalize the arrangement of your apps, tap "Done" on the top right of your screen or press the home button, depending on your iPhone model.

2. Clear Your Device of Unnecessary

We should think of garbage disposal as part of the application usage cycle. Failure to remove them leads to system clutter and reduced performance.
